I've recently been offered a job at my local Applebee's (KS) and one the required forms I have to complete is agreeing to arbitration and waiving my rights to file a proper court case.
This is scary to me as I've had multiple companies in this area try to get one over on me. It's almost as if it's common practice.
There is a line that says if I don't sign but work there anyways it will be treated the same as if I signed. I'm seriously considering turning down the job because this seems like a recipe for my rights to be violated with no recourse
