Forced To Pay An Ambulance Bill After My Employer Exposed Me To Carbon Monoxide

So while working the other day and doing dishes in the back of the store. The carbon monoxide detector started going off. So the first thing I did was removed all customer's and staff out of the store and closed the doors. I called the local fire department and they came down to check it out. And turns out there were high levels of carbon monoxide detected. They then proceeded to open the doors and used a fan to air out the building. Upon doing so they did the standard “is anyone feeling sick or have a headache” In which I replied yes because at that time I had a pretty bad headache while working there. The fire department said “let us come check you out and make sure you are okay.” So I got in the ambulance for no more than probably three minutes with them putting the oxygen level reader on my finger to see what my oxygen and other levels were. I left the ambulance and several moments later they said “come here for a second” in which they sat me back down in the ambulance and had me fill a form. They told me it was just in case I needed to call them after and they could take me to the hospital. I then walked out of the ambulance and thought nothing of it. Well today I check my mail and sure enough I get a surprise $150 ambulance bill for simply sitting there three minutes with a simple device on the tip of my finger. Number one just unbelievable that something so easy, simple would be charged for an outrageous price of $150. But even more insulting is they charged the bill torwards me and not my employer. Worse yet I wasn't even notified I would get charged for them taking a look at me. So I am going in today to see if my employer to see if they will foot the bill because I certainly am not paid enough to do so. I don't think this is very fair because it wasn't my fault that my job exposed me to carbon monoxide. My store owner is also extremely greedy and refuses to pay for anything. So I am not sure that this will even happen. I am not sure what I am going to do. Because I don't have the money to afford this bill. Does anyone have any advice just in case my employer declines to pay for this?
