Forced vacation days

I work at a nonprofit organization that will be closed for the next two weeks. Of those 10 work days, four will be considered holiday pay. For the remaining six, we have a choice: take vacation time. Or take unpaid days. Some of us (like me) haven’t been there very long. I don’t have six days accrued yet. I said I’d be willing to work a few days and take my vacation days at a later time. I was told I could borrow against days I have not yet earned. THEN I was told that “at my level” I would still be working anyway even if office closed. Ok so that means on paper I’ll have negative vacation hours, but I’ll still be expected to work?? How are my 300+ coworkers ok with this? And who cares what “level” I’m at? Does that mean I’ll just never have an actual…
