So for reference my former employer was an extremely unprofessional CPA firm with about 12 employees. Being a CPA firm they are well aware of the laws regarding W-2s.
I quit January 2022 and did qualify for a W-2. They didn’t send my W-2, I contacted ADP and there was a W-2 for me but my address was just the office address instead of my address they had on file.
I’m assuming ADP sent it to them and they threw it straight in the trash.
A few people told me to report to the IRS. I originally was gonna do nothing but not providing a W-2 is illegal and the boss was such an asshole I honestly wanna report this shit out of principal.
