Was in the break room at my job one day and had a conversation with a couple of workers there. One of them worked at a different store in the grocery chain, that's right down the street from our store. Found out there's a manager from that particular store that literally choked a person. Like literally, slammed the coworker against the wall and held him up off the floor. I mentioned how crazy it was to another coworker, and now I'm afraid I might be fired for talking about it. Didn't say which manager because I don't know who. Just said a department manager there choked someone out.
But, isn't it sad that my first instinct is, “Oh my god, I'm scared I'm going to get fired because I talked about a manager doing something horrible to one of his coworkers?”
