Popular coffee company. Like REALLY popular. Was minding my own business in class until I got a message from a work friend saying I was removed from the work groupchat.
I texted my boss, called her, tried calling the store to get through to her, and I even pretended to be an angry customer who wanted to speak to the manager so I could finally get through to her. Just completely ghosted.
It happened to me and another coworker just for being sick. I found coverage for my shift and got it approved days before when I found out I was sick. Even showed the thermometer with my fever. It was covered and everything was fine.
Next thing I know, I was removed from the work chat and ghosted.
Her supervisor said they would look into it, but they aren’t actually doing anything. My manager is moving away soon anyway. Fuck work.
