A few days after my shady interview, the person I interviewed with texted me today saying they will raise the pay rate to $25 from the original offer of $20 an hour. Again, I turned it down saying I can’t take a job that offers no pto or benefits. Then this man texts me again saying they’ll offer me $20 an hour, three weeks pto and health insurance. First off, why are you going down in your offer? That’s not how negotiating works. Second, if you could’ve offered me all that, then why didn’t you offer it in the beginning? Third, nice to know you tried to dick me on pay by $5 an hour. Behavior like this is why you can’t find anyone willing to work for your shady ass business.
