So, I’m a 1099 employee and have been with the company for 2 years. In my contract, I’m to be paid every Friday. Yesterday, I did not receive my paycheck. This marks the fourth time this has happened. When I asked accounting, they said it was an “accounting error” and they “hope it doesn’t happen again.” I’m really not sure who I can file a complaint with. EEOC? Any and all help is much appreciated!
