From a disgruntled service clerk

Dear employers, Post the salary range and benefits on your job listing. Pay above minimum wage. Pay at least a some-what livable wage. If you're running into issues finding new people to hire or retaining the ones you have, that's probably why. I don't bother applying for a job posting if I don't know what I'm getting out of it, or if it's minimum wage. A job is not something the vast majority of us are going to go work because we're passionate about it; we are all there to make money. We have lives, and this is ultimately a business transaction. I'm getting very tired of companies expecting a $30/hr work ethic for a $15/hr pay. If you want the good quality hard work you're looking for, you need to buy it. Sincerely, A disgruntled service clerk.
