I countered when I got the typical 10% raise offered (since I was a current employee).
Nah the 10% is what I am owed for my current work you just have been underpaying me. They didn’t budge & I didn’t budge. They are now looking for someone outside the company to take the job, meanwhile I am keeping my current job. Wonder who they will ask to train this new person 🤔 Probably will take them months to find someone, then train on the systems. During that time they will lose more than the $4,000 I was asking for🤦️
