I'm 23 weeks ftm. Just started a new job, it's a billing office for insurances. They hired me knowing I'm pregnant. They asked me how long I'm taking off for maternity leave. I said probably 12 weeks. (Since I want to be with my NEWBORN, and my husband only gets 3 DAYS OFF OF WORK FOR LEAVE). And they're like “yeahhhh ummmmm its only 6 weeks if you deliver vaginally, 8 weeks if you have a c section” . Ummm excuse me? Ur not paying me anyways. How are you going to tell me how long my mat leave is? 🤔I just spent 9 months creating a human life, I get to now spend time with that human life before coming back to work as your SLAVE…. seems weird.
