I have 6+ years of graphic design experience and 3 years of Front End Web Development experience with a portfolio that accurately showcases my own entire skill set which is deemed to be “impressive” by every company that sends me a fucking “While you have an impressive resume unfortunately, we won't be moving forward with your application. ” type of bullshit email.
How is it that after filling out about 50+ job applications a day for the last 2 months (roughly 3,150 job applications for positions that I am qualified for) I have only ever received 2 interviews… HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?! Statistically, there should be a lot more people willing to give me a damn interview. Especially when a small percentage of those I roles applied for were intern and junior level. Are all these jobs fucking fake or what?!
I guess this is a clear enough sign of the next great depression.
