So I applied to multiple jobs on indeed, and this Thursday I got a call from a local company for an interview. So I go in and evening goes well, I tell the guy I’m very interested and if I can think about it for a day and get back to him, he agreed. The next day I call and say that I wipe accept the job and he says “great, what time can you start” I say “Monday”’ he says “8 am sound good” and I agree “yes, see you Monday”. The next day Saturday, I get a text from the guy saying “sorry, another person more qualified has been chosen for the role, sorry”…. What a piece of work, I called him twice soon after with no response. I’m glad I didn’t start that job if that’s the way they treat people. Plus on there website it says that “our staff is our greatest asset” it’s al bullshit.
Has anyone else delt with a similar experience?
