I (25f) work for a landscape company in Illinois. Everyday I am driving company vehicles. Yesterday one of our guys drove our dump truck and part of our passenger mirror fell off. Our boss does not take the best care of the vehicles and doesn’t always listen when something needs to be done. Getting a new mirror will take some time.
If I get pulled over and ticketed for the missing mirror, do I need to pay it? Will my insurance rates go up? Will it be on my record?
This would also go hand in hand with missing taillights or brake lights.
