I work in production and last week I was written up for low numbers. I refused to sign the acknowledgment. I am currently ranked number one in closed sales for this year in my role. In fact I am 3x higher than the next person. They want me to get higher pending sales numbers since last month mine was lower. The number they want? Something the most senior person in my role has only gotten 4 times since he has been there in a few years. He’s averaging once per every 4 months and they want me to hit it monthly after being here a fraction of the time he has.
When I started there were 10 people in my position and now that number has been halved with most leaving. Also I had some complaints when I originally started. Last week was the third time I complained about the unfairness and some employees apparently not needing to spend time documenting their work while others do. My manager did not respond to my email and a few days later I was asked for an indept production report to get my pending sales up. It was followed the next day by a meeting with my manager and HR, then the written notice.
At this point I am considering seeking a lawyer. This seems like a pretty open and shit case in terms of retaliation and unfair labor practices. They send production reports out daily so I can see all the numbers and where everyone stands.
