Going to a job fair Saturday for a company I already work for

The company decided to change my employment contract 5 months after I accepted and made it seem like I had no choice if I wanted to stay employed. All the new contract did was classify me as a new-hire and strip me of 8 years of seniority. I could not renegotiate my pay of $22.48. Less than a month later, the company raised the bottom to $20.50/hr. So with almost 10 years of experience, 7 with this company, I’m making $2/hr more than new hires and 11 years from our union negotiated top-out with our current +$0.25 every 3 month raise schedule. This morning I finally called our district lodge, as the local has been no help, only to be told the same and that my best chance is to apply for an external posting because I cannot be promoted any higher in my current classification. It just so happens…

It just so happens they are holding a job fair on Saturday and making offers on the spot. My resume has not been updated since I got rehired, and hopefully they don’t do any digging. They took my seniority so I have nothing to lose by starting over. Our contract is up for negotiation in June, and I have another interview lined up for Monday with another local manufacturer. The only downside to leaving is I’m still fully vested in this pension and the insurance is the best in town.

Any and all advice is welcomed.
