Two months into a three month contract-to-hire job through an agency and I’ve found a better opportunity with PTO and benefits starting day 1.
Gonna send an email to the agency after 5:00 their time saying I won’t be returning. Their employee handbook has a section on their at will work expectations and notice of termination by either party requires no notice.
Maybe the company I’m actually doing work for will rethink staffing their specialty technical positions through an agency.
Doesn’t matter to me because I’m off to a Caribbean island for a week starting Saturday and then a week off after that before the new job starts on the 30th.
