The reasoning they put is “under staffed”. That seems like a personal problem and not a me problem.
I mean, it's not like I'm asking them? I'm letting them know my ass won't be there that day. They should feel lucky I even requested and not called out the day of. I'm going to basically tell them when I go in to work that if you schedule me that day (THATS NEXT MONTH) I'm not showing up. So, don't act surprised. Lol
I don't know where surpervisors get off on thinking they can control your life. If they are “under staffed” like they say than hire more people. It's hilarious how they can predict 1 month into the future that we will be understaffed for this random ass day. I'm literally going to tell them you have 1 month to hire more people to cover me for that day. So, better get to it.
