Okay so I started working at a company in January starting at 15$ a hr and I told them coming in I would be continuing to look for other higher paying jobs when they hired me they said okay. Fast forward to march and I might have found a job, the interview went well and mentioned it to a head manager like trying to be upfront about it and not wanting to just not show up anymore and screw them(which is what I should have done). All I said is the interview went well and I’m just giving you a heads up. Next morning I wake up at 9am and the manager is saying that they are just letting me go saying since I started working there all the workers have complained about my attitude. Basically in two months my attitude has gotten worse. But she heard I might have found another job so she’s just letting me go.
Also my job will now have to be picked up by the other workers. The manager makes us mad at each other She tells me my co-workers complained about me and makes them mad by making them do the extra work, and will get away with not paying them more $. Honestly I got along with my co-workers and didn’t wanna screw you over that’s why I was giving you a heads up. Just fire him is the answer these companies and the unemployment office are getting away with not paying people by making up bs excuses to why I was terminated.
This is the second time I have been let go from a job for some bs kinda reason within 6mo. It’s definitely not my attitude.
Does anyone think I would even have a valid claim for unemployment?
