I am a pretty skilled bartender. I work in a festival, they have a bar. The place where the bar is situated is the middle of the festival. The problem is that people complain all the time, every weekend that the music is always the same and it doesn't change. It never changes. It's been like that for almost four months. Same four songs. It's a bar and pretty much you gotta know that in bars you need to play different playlists to keep the people entertained. So I came up with the solution, play my own music with my own speaker. People never stayed long when they only played the four songs, now I got clients rounding up and staying at the bar enjoying my good old music. Manager came and started to talk to me that this is not what he plans. He makes me stop the music and the clients just stay silent, some of them even left. Dude stayed there, watching me making drinks, micromanaging every little shit that I did. The bar doesn't have anything at all and I gotta bring all the stuff necessary to work. Shakers, pourers and things like grenadine. Manager did not like the way I was keeping the clients happy, so he came and ruined the mood for everyone around. I think he will fire me for being a nice and fast bartender, so I will quit first. They have been having many employees quitting as well so I guess one more will do nothing to them, but I remember I am the only bartender they have. I felt his entitlement to the roof, feeling overpowered, I saw his face, he was pretty much satisfied that he was there, micromanaging my shit.
