Finished up my first week of my new job and it's been great so far! Although the classroom based training is kinda exhausting since I've been doing it for a year already for my degree but not much else to complain there.
Next week, my company has people flying in and giving them hotel rooms and rental cars for free. I was offered a room which I'm taking so I don't have to make such a long commute back home everyday so that's exciting. Training next week is gonna be 3-5 hours a day so the majority of my time is gonna be relaxing in my hotel room playing Elden Ring with my friends.
I put my reimbursement mileage down and gave it to my boss so I should be expecting a nice check soon for that. Lunch is paid for by my employer on Monday so I get a nice lunch and welcoming party when I walk in to train.
Never had a job that treats employees so well and invests so much time and money into them so I'm hella excited.
