Had an interview where they told me I wasn’t worth what I was asking

I just got let go from a job making $24 per hour, so during the interview I asked for that. The guy said I wasn’t worth that and he could maybe get me $20 which pissed me off enough that I’m no longer interested in the job even if I get it.
