I was working with a horrible toxic workplace for the last 8 months. I was on a 38hour contract, working 50- 60 hours a week (unpaid overtime). To get Christmas holidays was like r)the end of the world (I managed to squeeze two out of him). For the last two weeks rhe entire office was working till 10,11,12pm to finish crazy deadlines our boss put to be finished before Christmas, while he traveled back to his home country. 2/3 of the office are unpaid interns,whose work just won him a few hundred thousand euros. My boss micromanages so much that he once phoned a girl who he thought I am dating (I am), to ask if we are dating – she doesn't even work with us.
Before going on holiday I was offered a position with a higher salary, lower working hours and paid overtime. I have to hand in my one month notice. I'll be spending nye with the girl he thinks I'm dating. We're going to send a selfie at midnight , quitting
