I got offered my dream job but they rescinded the offer because an old coworker gave a bad reference, now I’m blacklisted from my dream company and can’t pursue the career I worked so hard for.
My coworker acted super sweet, pretended she would say nice things, and then ruined my dream job. I can’t get over it. I worked so hard for it and it was literally sabotaged. Hard work does not lead to success. Ever. I put so much effort into everything, so many times, but the world just runs on luck. I don’t have luck. The one time I was about to get what I wanted it was literally taken away from me.
Trying is so pointless.
