Currently in a workman’s comp dispute with my employer. Today I had to tell me doc I’ve got to cut back on treatment because I can’t afford to come in as much as he’d like, until corporate does the right thing. Have a feeling that the only reason work hasn’t approved or disapproved my workman’s comp is that they know once they officially “reject” it’s going to the lawyers. Could also honestly be that HR is just that incompetent but a month on it’s becoming less likely.
Anyways, I like most of us, have an arbitration clause in my contract that kicks in before we get to court. I’ve been to court plenty (law school grad) but I’ve never been to arbitration and honestly it always sounded like an employer friendly forum designed to crush employees. Anyone have any experience?
