Have eye opening conversations at every family gathering

Was at a cousins birthday this weekend and got on the topic of inflation and how expensive everything is. My aunt and her mother brought up how people don’t want to work these days. To where, my brother and I interjected people want to be compensated fairly and are underpaid. They both rolled their eyes at that comment. So we brought up restaurants and how less people are going to restaurants, they said because it’s too expensive, we said because we’re not getting paid enough. They went back and said and the restaurants don’t have enough staff, we said, because they’re not paying their staff enough. Long story short, it ended up being a really eye opening conversation to them, and now they understand that if we don’t up wages, all of their luxuries are going to collapse.
