Have gotten a holiday bonus 14 years in a row, am I wrong to still expect it?

I’m a secretary at a university, this is my 15th year. Every other year my boss took up a collection for me among some of the other professors to provide me a holiday bonus (cause let’s face it the university doesn’t pay me enough). I’d get anywhere from $500 to $900 from this. Last year I got a new boss and I still got the bonus but I think my old boss kinda spearheaded it still. Now my old boss is long gone and some of the other professors have retired and one even died (which I’m actually pretty upset about that’s a whole other story). Anyway my new boss has gone out of the country now for the holidays and I got no card or anything, pretty sure he forgot. Should I be pissed about this or what?
