So I live in WA, worked for a small food business (less than 30 employees in total) for a few years, and I've known about my back deformity for about a decade, but lately it's gotten so painful I have to stop working and seek disability. I've missed 3 scheduled days in hopes that I'd feel better, but after having a x-ray a few weeks ago it looks like I'm going to be managing severe pain every day for the rest of my life, and again, in extreme pain already so I can't reasonably go in anymore. It's a typical no benefits food job, but I'm wondering, is there any way I could swing this so I can recieve financial support as I wait for my disability application to go through? I've read conflicting things about unemployment or medical leave. Would I qualify for either of those things?
