I started a job 3 weeks ago and worked two full 10 hr shifts, however It quickly became clear that I am not able bodied enough to work a standing job like that. I reached out and let them know that I wouldn't be able to keep working there and I apologized for wasting their time to which I got the response “OK.” Figured thats, that- and moved on to get a new job.
However when I got hired the manager had told me it was good timing because I started on time with payroll, that i'd get my first check two weeks from then, I gave them my direct deposit. Its now been three weeks and I haven't 1. gotten my check or 2. am able to get ahold of the office? I'd go over there but I don't have open hours with my new schedule.
Should I just reach out to corporate or just file something with the wage department?
