I work in a bigger city at a well known hospital on a surgical post operative floor. We are swamped, all the time. We are always short staffed. The hospital has been giving us incentive pay if we pick up shifts, but I’m exhausted. I absolutely love my job and I wouldn’t want to do anything else, but since the pandemic it’s been so hard.
