Healthcare is killing me

I am in an allied health profession so I also work in schools, which are just as bad. Quality patient care is never prioritized in these settings because quality care = money. And I constantly have people who have no qualifications to do my job telling me how to do my job. I just want to help people, that’s what I love to do (and went into a fuck ton of debt to learn how to do). I have luckily never had an issue with a patient/student/family/caregiver. It’s the systems and the corporations that make me absolutely dread going to work everyday. My mental health has always been bad and a career that was supposed to be fulfilling being so shitty and stressful is not helping. The direct patient work is incredibly fulfilling, but it comes along with so, so much bullshit.
