Hello,
Since January I Have been running both Xxxxx and xxxx, Dealing with Auctions, Assisting customers and fixing any problems that arise. While I was not directly asked to take up this responsibility, I took it upon myself to make sure that whoever ends up taking over the location doesn't inherit a wildfire and instead can more easily take the reins.
In addition to this I have taken on additional projects to help other locations, mainly the xxxxx property, But I have also been the go-to for the previous xxxx Manager and have been helping him with his auctions and any problems that may arise that he does not have the answers for.
I truly enjoy this job but feel that I'm not being paid what my work is worth. My raise in December was a $1 per hour raise. This increase was according to you a 6% raise, which can be equated as $160 more per month before tax. Current inflation for 2021 to 2022 is 7%. This raise didn't even cover inflation cost let alone the cost of my Medical insurance that I just had to start.
Finally, I wanted to bring up that back when I was being offered the position of manager at xxxxxxx, I had spoken with xxxxx about having a review after 6 months, assuming I would have another review around my Year anniversary 2 months later at the end of February. While I understand it has been a hectic time I also found out through xxxxxx before she left that there was no intent to have a year review in February as that is what the December review was for. I felt very misled and unappreciated especially after taking over a store I didn't originally want to manage but was talked into.
To Summarize I believe I deserve another raise, I have been a diligent worker, I have done all I can to assist others when asked and have taken on responsibilities that should not be mine. I do really love this job but I don't feel that my effort is appreciated.
Best regards,
