So I join my best friend company to help start it and honestly had to drop my progress on school for it and I’m not complaining about it cause it was only one semester I started but that being said I join cause I see a great big opportunity and maybe learn the business side of it (since that what I was studying for). Since the beginning I let him know whatever I’ll say when it comes to work it’ll stay as a work relationship and separate our friendship from it and so time fly by and I start to see a bit of unfairness as far as pay and the grunt work me and a few other guys are put in so I let it slide by since work is work but today I found out I was getting 16$ compare to what they told us from the beginning which was 17. It already broke a bit of my trust so when I pushed why you lied about , he proceeded to say that these other guys from the job site is getting payed 15$ and honestly I talked my shit saying idc what they make I wanna know why I went from 17 to 16 without knowing and I found also today that his cousin is getting payed more then me and these other 2 guys so it hit me a certain way cause I want to build a business that was base off honestly and being forward so when I proceed to talk more he said that the company isn’t going to get profit if everyone is going to get payed equally and the most payed one was him (the owner) and his uncle (who taught us how to do ductwork,hvac , etc) so I understood that part but for his bro come tell me that his cousin making a lot I honestly feel dumbfounded. I need help on how to approach this cause I’m not the only one feeling this .
