I have gotten raises of anywhere between 20 cents and 50 cents semi-annually and annually. I'm not even sure how much. I know my wage was supposed to be closer to 15 dollars an hour, but when I was finally able to log into my online Paychex account my raise was only 13 something an hour.
I don't even know exactly how many raises I got or exactly how much it was supposed to be, but I know I got SEVERAL reviews and raises since 2021, and yet my wage hadn't been changed at all since November 2021.
I did the math and my employer owes me something like 2500-3500 in back pay, or about 50 dollars a week of what I should have been getting.
I think this was just negligence on my employer, as he has been a decent employer from my experience of working with him for 7 years, I haven't had any problems with him.
However, how should I handle this in the best way possible to ensure that I am paid my FAIR and accurate wage, along with backpay?
