Help: Interview Questions due to former employee reviews

Hello All, I currently have a job, for over 5 years, but i would like to expand my skill set in another sector, where training with approved professional bodies is provided. I have an interview lined up for Friday for a company who offers exactly what i want. They match my current salary, say they will sponsor the training and would like to meet me based on those agreements as base line. Just to repeat, i am in a stable job and looking for the best deal. Only problem is that the former employee reviews for exactly that department are devastating. Common reviews are: – too heavy workload for that pay range – unpaid overtime required each day – no or unexperienced management, so no support available Even with those reviews, literally all reviews praise the company as a whole as good employer, but just slack off exactly the department…

Hello All,

I currently have a job, for over 5 years, but i would like to expand my skill set in another sector, where training with approved professional bodies is provided.

Common reviews are:
– too heavy workload for that pay range
– unpaid overtime required each day
– no or unexperienced management, so no support available

Even with those reviews, literally all reviews praise the company as a whole as good employer, but just slack off exactly the department I want to work in.

Saying all that, those are 30 of over 200 reviews with an employee rating of 3.8/5 stars, but those are the most recent ones.

As it is my dream sector, matching my baseline expectations, i would still like to do the 1on1 online interview (step 1 of 2).

Which questions are a MUST ASK to find out more about the companies culture to see if it is a match or no go?
