I started working as a contract employee for a small company about two years ago. Last month they onboarded me as an employee, part-time 30 hours a week. They have finally started hiring more staff and I have been a part of the training process.
This job has not been easy for me, the systems they had in place were confusing, convoluted and resulted in a lot of wasted time and unnecessary steps. The person who trained me and is now my manager was extremely frustrated with me, made shitty comments about my lack of skill and time management. I have. cried at the end of almost every day.
Now that we are training new people, the redundancies in the system have become obvious that is was not a failure on my part, which I was always blamed for in the past.
I dislike my manager immensely and I would love to get an apology, but I know that’s probably not going to happen.
Can anyone suggest a passive aggressive, slightly snarky yet still professional way to express to these assholes that this was not my fault all along and I’m not stupid or slow or slacking off?
