I am not nearly as up on these kind of things as I should be. I've worked in a call centre for 5 years but starting from September have started teacher training and so cut my hours down from 50 hours to 10. (5 hours Saturday and Sunday.) I had 100+ hours initially because I don't like to use them all up etc and it's not been an issue before I've booked off random weeks-or when there is holiday free, but this was cut down due to going part time. The work rule is on weekends only 1 person can be off on holiday.I handed in my notice earlier this month and so there's no time to take my remaining holiday. The work stance is any holidays not used will be lost and unpaid. Is this legal/right? I think any not taken holiday I should be paid.
Sorry if I am a bit vague any advice would be great.
