I worked at my last job for nearly 3 years. Gave it my all, worked my ass off, only to be looked over when it came to promoting. There was so much toxicity and just bull shit. That job ruined my back, hips, and knees. And for what? $16 an hour to barely survive, living paycheck to paycheck, two weeks from being homeless if something fell through. I left that job and started at a new job a few days later. I just now hit my 30 days and just got a raise. I now make more than I ever have and I’m getting paid better by a small business instead of a huge corporation now. Fuck corporations. They just want more money in their pockets. Go where you’ll be appreciated.
