I know after years of doing deals to help companies “shed costs” (workers, salaries, benefits) and pull in profits for your companies and investors, it's probably come as a great surprise that suddenly since the investors can't get their money from the workers they are coming after you.
Sure, you worked hard, achieved all your goals and and made the company profitable but…well…the “investors”, they need more, so it's going to have to come from you. I know, this must come as quite a shocker because you were “part of the team”, but it's the way it goes.
So come on over to the table. It's a big one, full of all kinds of workers who've seen this before. I'm sure you might recognize some of them as “costs” you've helped eliminate in the past but maybe now that you've had your eyes opened as far as how EVERYONE is expendable you can join the crusade.
