Honestly, from a small buisness owner, how do I achieve employee retention?

Painting company located in the US, I offer the most competitive benefits, paid breaks, flexible scheduling, bonuses, and most importantly above market pay wage. I've trained guys with no experience, I've given rides, paid for lunches, done everything I can to try and maintain employees but I can't keep guys longer than a couple seasons. Some have worked a day and left, some left during break the first day. My current crew is very welcoming, friendly, and we all have the same goals. Any advice to help maintain our newcomers the year and also maintain my current workers is greatly appreciated.
