As of now it's already 14PM in my country.
I just out of an interview with the manager of Burger King in my city.
My interview was on Jan 15, 2023 at 12 PM.
They had me waiting in the lobby for an hour.
I was finally invited into the office.
The manager, a woman, was busy discussing the death of the boss and inventory.
She was constantly sending voice messages on the phone. And interrupted the interview process a lot. She then asked me why I show no interest in the job.
I was appalled. Here I am trying to show respect by not interrupting her and now she's accusing me of not wanting the job. She's the one taking calls and constantly being on her phone.
I told her everything about me and then it came down to transportation and my issues.
I don't have problems with transportation.
I told her about having heavy cramps on the first day of my period and she immediately wanted to end the interview. She said menstruation is not a sickness and even if you feel sick you should still come to work. She's a woman herself and even works on her period. If you really want something you would work for it.
She advised to look for light work and send me out the door. I never got to inform about salary, work days or get to aks my own questions.
She was only focused on getting more info outta me.
My cramps make me lay in bed all day. Sometimes I have to leave shool early because I end up throwing up and getting diarrhea.
I've been sitting months without a job and I'm defeated.
