Given the extent to which my current job has negatively impacted my mental health and the frequent threats of termination, I'm questioning the value of providing two weeks' notice. The company has already attempted to fire me numerous times and even previously offered to allow me to resign immediately. As such, I intend to submit my resignation via email, effective immediately at 5 pm on Wednesday, even though my new job does not start until Thursday.
