How can I negotiate removing a particular passage from the contract?

I'm going to sign a contract that includes the following passage: Contractor shall provide services exclusively on behalf of the Company. Contractor shall not provide services of any kind to any other company, individual or organization during the term of this Agreement without receiving written permission from the Company I wonder if it's legal to include this passage and even if it's included how can it be enforced if this is a remote work. However I'm still hesitating to sign it as is. What are my options to negotiate the removal of this passage? I don't think I have any lever on the company. I've already asked them about this passage and they insist on leaving it in the contract
