How do employers really expect you to work side by side with people who file false HR reports?

A false (or AT LEAST in bad faith) report was filed against me, I defended myself with evidence in the HR meeting, and things went my way. Good for me. Hooray. But, how do employers reasonable expect you to work along with someone who not only filed a report about you, but filed a faulty report? I have to go on work trips with this person and sometimes lodge with them. I can’t trust them. After my HR meeting was over, I was sent back out to the floor to work alongside the person who reported me. How am I not supposed to resent that person for doing something rude and terrible? How am I supposed to be nice? Do other people just not hate the person who reported them for dumb stuff?
