A coworker sent a mass email last week asking everyone to pitch in $10 to buy a Christmas gift for the owner of the company. I ignored it for obvious reasons and Monday morning she sent a “reminder”. Not to everyone…. just those who hadn't paid. Today she comes into my office and asks me to my face if I had the money. I told her I don't carry cash. She is clearly not getting the hint and I'm trying to think of a tactful way to decline because I am 100% positive I am the only one who won't pitch in.
