How do we stop America’s technological growth?

The only thing the US cares about is maintaining its superpower status. All other things come secondary to this. Instead of advocating for people to just quit work entirely (most Americans are too entrenched in the idea of work being essential) and would therefore be against any movement of people not working, how about we advocate for quiet quitting, working part time, etc. Basically, doing the bare minimum to not get fired. Part of what makes the American economy so strong is American worker productivity (amongst the highest). Significantly alter this, and you create a big problem for the government. Also, with the rise of China, the US would be desperate to maintain any lead in the technological domain that it can hold. If you affect this, there might be a significant chance at reform. Basically, the whole point of this post is to affect the US in the places…
