how do you cope with burn out? how do you motivate yourself not to just quit? help???

I'm going into 4 years working at the same company. It's freelance and work from home but I have a fixed schedules to clock in and clock out, fixed days off and paydays and it's just a regular job as any except I don't got any rights, days off or anything. Not American so American laws won't apply and company is not based on my country so my country laws won't either. It sucks but it pays well because of dollar conversion. But the no time off thing is making me lose my mind. I worked 4 Christmas (eve and day) and 4 new years eve/new years in a row. I can try asking for time off (unpaid, of course) but there's little chance of being approved since other workers also ask them. The highest amount of time I've taken off was 5 consecutive days for a trip in June…

I also don't have weekends as my days off are mon-tue so I can't make plans with friends, attend events and stuff. My social life is in shambles and I'm always unable to participate in gatherings because I'm always working.

Its gotten to a point that I'm so exhausted I'm at the verge of quitting. I'm past burn out tbh but finding another job is hard, months of trying and applying left and right and I always get the same “we decided to opt for other candidates” and the works. Or when I am called to something it's literally the same no rights bullshit for less money so lol no thanks

I thought about getting a little vacation like 2 weeks maybe, I don't have a lot of faith it will even be approved since my VTO requests are always denied, but even if it does, I'd be without payment on those days so it takes a lot of planning to try taking the time off.

I know I would get to rest by quitting but then I would be without income and that's not ideal. And despite the shitty conditions it pays well and it's convenient to work from home… Sadly it's by far the best work I've had so far.

So far I haven't been able to find anything that pays even close to it, so if I could only feel less miserable about it, maybe I could push through

How do you guys cope with the misery of labor? What gets you out of bed? I'm open for suggestions, tips, anything 🥺
