I'm new to this subreddit and reddit in general but I can really start to understand the perspective here. I work for a decent company and I don't really have any complaints except sometimes my boss will lose it and start yelling at me about really inconsequential things or small screw-ups simply because he is stressed or in a foul mood. You also have to walk on eggshells around him a lot and it can make the job really awkward and uncomfortable. It's also demeaning. Many of the things he will yell about he could easily just tell me in a normal voice. I'm not a slacker at work either. One of my coworkers just entered the workforce and is a little surprised that this is apparently the norm.
Is it though? Would any of you put up with it and is there anything I can do without getting my ass canned?
