How do you quit a job in a very small company and when you just got promoted?

I’ve been given a great opportunity at work and I said yes thinking that I should stick it out as it’ll look good on the cv, but since then my desire to leave has only increased not decreased for a variety of reasons that I won’t get into here. My supervisor and boss both make me feel like I’m indispensable while simultaneously not really being great at managing the company and neglecting issues that need to be dealt with and also occasionally being generally annoying to deal with. So what exactly do I tell them when I hand in my notice? I know I don’t owe them any answers other than “I appreciate this opportunity but it’s time for me to move on” – but what do I say if they ask “why are you leaving? Are you not happy here? What can we do to make you stay?” Like if I don’t answer these questions I feel like I might burn some bridges but maybe I’m also just overthinking.
