Just driving to work I counted at least 5 places advertising $20/hr positions. My company alone has been hiring the past few months yet several candidates either have been no shows or simply failed the pre employment drug test. I work for a union chemical facility making $39.57/hr with a 5% raise every March. Every post I see in this sub is someone complaining about making minimum wage crying about how nobody is paying a livable wage but yet they refuse to go out and find something better. Just look outside for once and you’ll be hit in the face with 5 places paying way more than what you are making now. And if you find a union job you’ll make triple. It’s not that hard
